About
I became a therapist after experiencing firsthand the transformative impact of therapy — the power of bringing awareness, reflection, and intention to our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. While staying on autopilot can feel easier in the short term, meaningful change often begins with curiosity, insight, and practical support. Therapy can help reduce acute symptoms, like insomnia, while also supporting a more peaceful, fulfilling, and engaged life overall.
I was drawn to specializing in sleep because sleep is both essential and often overlooked in mental health care. Consistent, restorative sleep plays a foundational role in emotional and physical well-being, and improving sleep frequently leads to meaningful improvements in anxiety, mood, and daily functioning. Sleep treatment can also produce noticeable results relatively quickly, and it is deeply rewarding to help clients feel rested and renewed. I work especially well with high-achieving adults who feel exhausted, stuck in racing thoughts at night, or frustrated by sleep struggles that haven’t improved with traditional advice or simple sleep hygiene practices.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based. My work is grounded in neuroscience and psychological research, and I partner closely with clients to tailor treatment strategies that fit their goals, values, and the realities of everyday life.
Originally from Minneapolis, I enjoy many classic Colorado transplant activities: hiking, camping, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and simply watching the wind move through the trees. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching movies and TV shows (recent favorites include 28 Years Later, Andor, Severance, and Train Dreams). I live in Denver with my partner, Ben, and my dog, Otto.
