About our sleep therapy services
Renew Behavioral Health specializes in evidence-based sleep therapy services to help clients achieve long-term improvements in sleep, including cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and acceptance and commitment therapy for insomnia (ACT-I). These interventions address the root causes of insomnia and chronic sleep problems and strengthening natural sleep processes, not by masking symptoms.
Our services are non-pharmacological, but clients can participate in services alongside current sleep medications or as a tapering support. Extensive research demonstrates that sleep therapy outperforms medication, particularly in the long-term.
Services are structured, goal-oriented, and typically brief (6-12 sessions). We serve clients across the entire state of Colorado via telehealth.
In addition to insomnia and problems initiating or maintaining sleep, Renew Behavioral Health also offers services for other sleep problems. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy for nightmares (CBT-N), the gold standard and evidence-based treatment for chronic nightmares and nightmare disorder.
We also work with people who have been diagnosed with other sleep conditions, including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorders. Sleep conditions with physical health causes are diagnosed through a diagnostic sleep center. Renew Behavioral Health does not offer sleep studies, MSLTs, or other physical health services, but we coordinate care with other providers as appropriate.
